2013/2014 Kink Big Bang Schedule & Sign Ups!

Greetings, lovelies! :D It is that time again! Here is the schedule, etc:

Sing Ups	October 1 to 31
First Draft Due	December 15
Artist Claiming	December 31
Final Draft Due	January 20
Posting Begins	February 1

Welcome FAQs and Rules are remaining the same as previous years. Please note that if you failed to respond last year, you will not be allowed to participate this year. We do have a list of those that are excluded.

thekinkroom will be set up again for participants for check-ins, cheerleading, etc. It is INVITE ONLY for those participating this year. I will send out invitations as sign-ups continue along.

For those of you who prefer Dreamwidth, there is now a mirror of this comm on DW at kink_bigbang! Check it out :) I've imported everything from this comm over there, so it's all set up!

The ultimate goal here is at least 12,000 words with at least 4,000 words in the first draft submitted that has almost all plot points covered. If you do not have a complete first draft, an outline will be required as well. Also, the fic must be finished when it is posting time - no works-in-progress will be posted.

So, what is art?
~ One large piece (i.e. a cover, wallpaper, banner)
~ A fanmix of at least 10 songs
~ One vid at least 3 minutes in length
~ At least 10 icons, OR
~ podfic in mp3 format is allowed as the art, but make sure to read off the artists comments as well as specify the fic was written for and read for kink_bigbang

What is allowed?
~ Artists may use nudity or not - it is at their discretion unless the author specifically states that they would rather not have nudity.
~ ALL art shall depict of age characters and shall include a disclaimer that they are of age if there is nudity.

Heh - so, I started a fic (haven't posted it anywhere, it's just on the hard drive) and went "I wonder if kink big bang is going to start up. This would be a good fit for it". :D So yay!

I may or may not write more than one. It depends on time and if I can find an idea or two.

Right now, I'm thinking of participating (I'm juggling so many big bangs it's ridiculous, but I have until December with this one and kinky porn is a quick way to gather a wordcount... :D)

How long do I have until I must sign up?

As of now, I have no idea what I'm going to write (okay, either MCU or AEMH Avengers), but as far as pairings and kinks go, it's still all in the wind.

Are those dates correct? You have sign-ups running Oct 1-31, and yet the sign-up forms are active now? If the sign-up dates change, will any of the other dates change? Thanks!

I think it's been a couple of years since I signed up and then bowed out to look after my mom, so there's no problem with being qualified to sign up right...?

Once I've finished moving in mid-October, it'll be just me in a little apartment, so there will be time aplenty for writing. (Mom passed away in June and I'm in process of shifting to a smaller, more affordable place).

Yes, you can totally sign up. If you have a vague idea, fill that in. If you don't, fill in "pending" in the blanks :) Glad to see you back, hon!
